2018 - [Infiniti] QX50 II

Au salon de Détroit, Infiniti exposera le QX50 Concept qui préfigure à 95% la version de série qui ne devrait malgré tout pas arriver avant début 2018 et se posera en concurrent des Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5 et BMW X3.





Surtout, le QX50 inaugurera le VC-Turbo donc voici l'explication du fonctionnement.

La revue Automobile a écrit:Le VC-Turbo d’INFINITI utilise un système à tige multiple perfectionné pour augmenter ou réduire la course des pistons, détectant les conditions de conduite du véhicule et les comportements du conducteur, puis sélectionnant le rapport de compression le mieux adapté. Le moteur est en mesure d’offrir des taux de compression entre 8:1 (pour les hautes performances) et 14:1 (pour une efficacité élevée).

À sa sortie de l’usine, le moteur VC-Turbo produira environ 268 chevaux, une puissance comparable à celle de certains moteurs à six cylindres à essence, tout en offrant une efficacité énergétique nettement supérieure.

Le moteur VC-Turbo à quatre cylindres émet des niveaux de bruit et de vibration plus faibles que les moteurs à combustion interne classiques, en particulier les moteurs diesel, et il est plus léger et plus compact que les moteurs V6 produisant des niveaux de puissance comparables.

La technologie du moteur VC-Turbo d’INFINITI représente un bond important en avant pour le moteur à combustion interne, digne des innovations de haut calibre telles que le refroidissement par liquide, l’injection de carburant, les convertisseurs catalytiques et la turbocompression. L’arrivée du moteur à rapport de compression variable permet d’établir de nouveaux points de référence pour la puissance, l’efficacité énergétique et les émissions, qui serviront à évaluer les groupes motopropulseurs de l’avenir.

Il semble étre bien équilibré avec ses roues aux 4 coins,mais bon,ça reste un Suv de plus..

C'est sans grandes surprises.

Il perd ses rondeurs, c'est un peu domage, il rentre dans le rang.
Ca pourrait etre un Mazda ou autre marque en enlevant les gimicks Infiniti.

Le camouflage diminue et l'habitacle est révélé à travers ces nouvelles images.

Il a l'air pas mal du tout sur ces derniers spyshots. Bien ramassé, dynamique. Et je trouve aussi l'intérieur réussi dans son genre, luxueux, Infiniti et moderne dans on intégration du bloc "écran & aérateurs centraux".

Bref pas adepte des SUV pour deux sous, mais ce QX50 semble prometteur. Il devrait mieux se vendre que ce pauvre QX30...

PS : Future base pour SUV Alpine ? Que sait-on de la plateforme ?

Il me semble qu'il reprend la base du Qashqai actuel. Rien à voir avec la plateforme SUV en cours de développement pour les prochaines générations de SUV Renault/Nissan/Alpine.

Merci. On a le temps d'en savoir plus sur cette plateforme. Je pensais qu'elle serait étrennée par Alpine, visiblement ce sera Renault avec le Captur II...

Pas du tout : le Captur est basé sur la plateforme CMF-B (Clio/Captur/Juke).
Là on parle d'une plateforme dérivée de la CMF-CD actuelle pour couvrir tous les SUV des segments C/D Renault/Nissan (et plus si affinités).

A multi-link system continuously raises or lowers the pistons' reach to transform the compression ratio. High compression ratios aid efficiency, while low ratios enable greater power and torque. The VC-Turbo offers any compression ratio between 8:1 (for performance) and 14:1 (for efficiency), maximizing driver control.

The engine delivers 268 hp (200 kW) and 280 lb ft (380 Nm), an expected best-in-class combination of four-cylinder power and torque. The 2019 QX50 is expected to deliver fuel economy of 27 mpg (U.S. combined, front-wheel drive; 26 mpg all-wheel drive). Front-wheel-drive models offer a 35% improvement in fuel efficiency over the previous V6 gasoline QX50; all-wheel-drive models offer a 30% improvement.
The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), for seamless power delivery. Its infinite number of ratios perfectly matches the engine's ability to transform.

Sinon je le trouve magnifique il est bien proportionné et je le trouve très dynamique sans etre surchargé au niveau design bref une très belle auto qui mérite d'avoir du succès
